Parent participation is an extremely important part of the success of Burlingame Aquatic Club.

Each swim team family is required to work a total of 20 hours per year in support of BAC. (PreComp families are exempt.)

During the year the club hosts 2-3 meets. BAC hosted Swim Meets require the support of all our family volunteers. Below is a list crucial positions that guarantee our meets will be conducted in an exceptional manner.

In addition to working at meets, work hours commitment may be filled by becoming part of a BAC Committee:

Administrative Team Help the registrar update records, help with meet entries, keep records of dues and assist coaches input meet splits into the computer.
Activities Team Help plan social events by group, or all team events. For example, bowling, mini golf, movie nights, etc.
CudaMentors The “Welcome Wagon.” Assist new families in becoming acclimated to BAC, answering the questions of new parents.
Communications Team Help with the monthly newsletter, website, create flyers and posters, and help distribute info in the file folders.
Fundraising and Donations Team Help with our fundraisers such as the snack bar, lap-a-thon, meet program ads, or even a car wash or other fundraising ideas.
Team Apparel Handles team orders of t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, etc. Help to design and sell Team Gear.
Volunteer Committee Help organize volunteers for any BAC event that may need parents to help out and volunteer: BAC hosted swim meets, lap-a-thon, awards dinners, etc.
